Hey there,

 

We’re closing out our Numbers series with the most visual tool in the toolbox—KPI Cards. Whether it’s a Priority, Critical Number, Quarterly Target, or Metric, KPI Cards help you track what matters where it matters most—in Dashboards and Huddles.

A few things you might not know:

  • Add multiple KPI Card sections to your Dashboards or Huddles and name them however you like. It’s an easy way to organize your view by team, category, or function.

  • Prefer a cleaner layout? Minimize a section to get a compact list view with a single click in the top-right corner.

Pro tips to make your numbers work for you:

  • Focus on the few numbers that drive action. Aim for 3–5 KPIs that motivate forward progress—not just results.

  • If it’s not something you're actively managing this quarter, it might belong as a Quarterly Target instead of a dashboard KPI.

What’s the difference between Metrics, Priorities, Critical Numbers, and KPI Cards?

  • Critical Numbers are the top 5 numbers to watch. These are your team’s rallying points — clear signals of success that everyone should stay focused on.

  • Metrics are the data points behind it all. They power your dashboards, connect to integrations, and help you measure progress across the system.

  • KPI Cards are your visual scoreboards. Build views that combine Metrics, Priorities, and Critical Numbers to keep the right numbers front and center.
