Here are three small habits that make a big impact:
1. Daily Huddle
Keep it fast (15 minutes or less) and focused. This isn’t a to-do list roll call. Instead, come prepared with an update that pushes your priorities forward and connects to at least one other person in the room. Example: "Bob, I’m talking to the client you closed last week about integrations—they’re going to be a great account." That kind of context drives alignment and action. This is a great "rules of the road" download to share with the team.
2. Short Priority Update
Already running a daily huddle? Add 10 minutes once a week for Company or Parent Priority owners to give a quick update. Reconnect your team to why each priority matters and how it moves the company forward. Just a few minutes goes a long way.
3. Track Leading KPIs
You know your lagging numbers: revenue, profit, new customers. But what daily or weekly actions lead to those results? Identify your leading indicators, tie them to your priorities, and make them visible. Dashboards, 1:1s, team meetings—these numbers belong in all of them.
